Craftmanship
Paula and her design team work with craftspeople who are familiar with traditional techniques, for the construction of dry stone walls, paths, sitting areas, pergolas and gates, all those key elements that bring to a garden a further layer of interest and complexity.
From these elements to the more ephemeral additions like pots, seats, benches, vintage ornaments, every one of them is carefully considered, designed and commissioned for each one of their designs.
These last but very important details are what after all set a garden apart and what give that unique atmosphere and sense of lived in that she is known for and her clients most love.
Philosophy
Gardens are ongoing lifetime projects, they require nurturing, they are forever changing and they can be moulded to our dreams.
Paula creates soft, lush and dreamy gardens, with a preference to creating garden rooms that compliment the architectural buildings within the projects.
She pays great attention to detail to both planting scheme and hardscape, with a preferable use of natural materials like stone and timber.
Landscape materials are sourced and selected locally, with the highest quality and existent materials are reused or repurposed, if possible.
Every design is a one off, and she likes to experiment with a mixture of both traditional and minimal designs, herbaceous borders, fields of grasses, fields of roses and native plants.
She likes to provide year round structure and interest, with the use of trained trees, topiary and garden boxes.

Farm to Table
When designing and building our clients' garden projects, we prioritize implementing the farm-to-table approach, which contributes to the sustainability and environmental friendliness of our projects.
By focusing on growing our own food and cultivating high-quality soil, we actively reduce our carbon footprint. Additionally, this approach ensures that our clients have access to fresh, nutritious produce right from their garden, promoting a healthier lifestyle.
We also provide education and ongoing support to help our clients maintain and maximize the yield of their vegetable gardens, fostering a deeper connection to the food they consume.
The vegetable area can be as large or small as one can keep, taking into account the maintenance needed to keep optimum production all year round.
Our aim is not only to create a productive garden but a beautiful one aswell. Either with the use of raised beds, large round pots or recycling material we are able to create visually very attractive Vegetable gardens that are delight to look at.
For those who are new to this approach we often recommend to start small and increment the m2 of planters as time goes by, therefore controlling the production as one needs.
