Just steps from La Mansa beach in the picturesque fishing Village of José Ignacio, this project was a deeply personal journey rooted in my Uruguayan heritage. Over the course of two years, my husband and I built this beach house from scratch, creating a serene summer getaway where our family could reconnect with the simple joys of life. Designed with the intention of gathering for afternoons of mate and Rummy while watching the sun set and the waves crash, this house was a true expression of our love for family and the ocean. It stands as one of our cherished overseas projects, where we brought our vision to life in a place close to my roots
